Who is Barefoot Floors?

Barefoot Floors is a local Bundaberg company established by myself in July 2010 and has over the years serviced the Wide Bay region and South East Queensland for all their flooring needs.

  
As a qualified wall tiler with 15 years experience in the industry, I was bombarded with enquiries related to repairing tiles that had delaminated from the substrate or lifted/cracked. The old solution was to lift the tiles up, grind off the adhesive from each tile (creating huge quantities of dust, not great for your washing on the line!) as well as the glue inside the home-more mess!

A friend of mine  then mentioned an adhesive that could be pumped underneath the tile in order to restore the tile to it's original state. Following up on the idea, Barefoot Floors commenced work as one of the only companies in Australia to offer under-tile injection. In the early day the adhesive was pumped in by hand, which was still quite messy, however as demand grew for the service, Barefoot Floors adapted the process to develop a under-tile injection system which is dust free and mess free, all ready to walk on within a few hours! No need to shift furniture or relocate for the night, your tiles will be good as new by the time you get home from work.
The benefits of the system we created is that we have now achieved a product and service that I can offer clients that will not only save them money, but also removes the hassle and time involved with tearing up your entire floor to get it re-tiled.

It is exciting for me to make people aware that there is a service out there that can help. Being in the industry myself for such a long time, I have an understanding of the situation people can find themselves in and it feels good to know we can help people find a more cost effective solution.
